Yeast

Food sensitivities to Bakers and Brewers Yeast.

Yeast

Yeast intolerance is a common cause of IgG food intolerances, and it is important to differentiate between bakers and brewers yeasts, which are found in different foods and drinks.

Manifesting as bloating, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), weight gain, fatigue, skin problems, migraines or joint pain, even a mild food intolerance to yeasts, or other foods, may have a major impact upon a person’s day to day activities, and the inclusion of yeast in a western diet is so common that the actual intolerances can be difficult to find, and also to avoid successfully.

Smartblood Story - Kathryn's Yeast Intolerance

Kathryn, a keen hill walker, has always had problems with her energy levels, as well as experiencing fluctuations in her weight with no discernible cause.

Recently, one of Kathryn’s friends recommended that she take a Smartblood Food Intolerance Test – this test identified Yeast as one of her IgG trigger foods – she was shown how to avoid Yeast with the help of a Smartblood Nutritional Therapist – now she feels better, and climbs bigger hills!

I've had problems with my weight, energy levels, and with bloating since I was a teenager. One of my friends suggested that I have a Smartblood Food Intolerance Test which identified yeast as a possible trigger food. Now that I'm avoiding yeast, I feel much better. - Kathryn
