Vegetables

Identifying Vegetables that cause food sensitivities.

Vegetables

Contributing vitamins, minerals and fibre to our diets, adverse reactions to individual vegetables, or vegetable groups, can often be responsible for individual food sensitivities in the UK.

Manifesting as bloating, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), weight gain, fatigue, skin problems, migraines or joint pain, even a mild food intolerance to some vegetables may have a major impact upon a person’s day to day activities, and the inclusion of these foods in a western diet is so common that the actual intolerances can be difficult to find, and also to avoid successfully. However, there will be many foods that could provide a similar nutritional profile.

Smartblood Story - Lisa's Onion Intolerance

Lisa, a full time mum in Cornwall, has suffered with bloating  for most of her adult life – trying to identify the trigger for her bloating has been very difficult.

View Lisa’s video story to see how a Smartblood food intolerance test helped Lisa identify her trigger foods, one of which was Onions, and how a consultation with a Smartblood Nutritional Therapist helped her identify foods that contained onion and showed her suitable replacements and what to beware of when eating out.

I've always suffered from bloating - it wasn't until Smartblood helped me identify my trigger foods that I was able to take control. If you think that you may have food intolerances I highly recommend taking a Smartblood Test. - Lisa
